As the relationship between Japan and Vietnam continues to deepen to an unprecedented level, Vietnam has finally become a country that Japanese companies want to invest in, alongside the United States and China. As a Japanese individual fortunate to have a connection with the wonderful country of Vietnam, I am delighted to witness the growing friendship between the two nations. The opportunity to deepen my understanding of Vietnam arose when I met my Vietnamese wife.
Since starting a Vietnam business in 2015, I have been expanding my business in Japan with many Vietnamese employees. I have consistently felt that Japan and Vietnam share common cultural aspects, values, national characteristics, and religious views. Recognizing the importance of such commonalities in the international community, understanding and emphasizing these aspects mutually can be a source of wealth for both sides in business. The modern society is undergoing significant transformations, and international cooperation is crucial for various business sectors worldwide to heal and recover from the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
I believe that Japan and Vietnam, by collaborating and promoting prosperity through business, can exert influence on the world.
